[:en]The English Program had a special activity on Friday morning, 24 July 2015 about Fire/Emergency Preparedness. Visitors from the school board, administration and educational office were present as well as the Governor of Maha Sarakham. Fire and Rescue personnel were also there to perform a demonstration to the students about how to handle fire and emergency situations. This is vital especially for the students of Building 6, which is one of the tallest school structures in town. After the ceremony and demonstration, the students headed back to the classrooms and awaited the fire drill. The dramatization of fire occurrence was situated at the second floor of building 6, in the Gifted Program Science laboratory. The students were able to exit the building safely without panic. Some students acted as casualties of the fire and were provided medical attention. The fire department arrived to distinguish the fire and the mock situation and activity ended with the assessment of the activity and the interview of the Governor.
